When the Reject Shop build its new national distribution centre and DR site at its new "Greenfields site" in Truganina, it found that no high capacity data services were available on site to support the requirements. The only feasible option to connect the site on time was to implement Easyweb's proposal for a high capacity radio link between the two sites.  As there was no line of sight, the link required an active repeater site on top of the Melbourne Central building South Tower at 285 metres high.

To implement the two hop link, we used one  NEC Pasolink IX on the 11 GHz band and on Pasolink EX on the 80Ghz band.  The system provides up to 400 Mbps of full duplex capacity between the two sites and it is fully monitored and managed by SNMP.
