WiFi as an IOT Platform

Workshop

The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to disrupt corporate networks and business processes by fundamentally changing how we interact with systems and how those systems interact with each other.

IoT guarantees efficiencies through use of big data and artificial intelligence. It also introduces complexity in terms of data management and the exponential growth of devices demanding connectivity.

Our seminar will focus on how WiFi can be deployed to realise the promises, and address some of the challenges of a highly connected IoT world. We will demonstrate a simple smart city IoT solution for WiFi and 3G connected sensors.
