Recently, our established global wireless infrastructure technology partner, Cambium Networks, acquired the Xirrus wireless business from Riverbed Technology. Xirrus have produced leading enterprise wireless solutions for several years, particularly in the high density user class.
Cambium Networks already offer a wide range of point-to-point (backhaul infrastructure), point-to-multipoint (wide area distribution), cloud managed WiFi and switching solutions for enterprise, industrial and service provider network operators. The addition of Xirrus solutions will complement and extend the existing Cambium Networks WiFi portfolio and market reach.
Easyweb Digital is a long term Cambium Networks partner and we are pleased to announce that we will be adding the Xirrus WiFi solution to our product range. Our Encapto Public WiFi platform already provides native integration with the Cambium Networks CnMaestro and Xirrus WiFi solutions.
When Xirrus WiFi is deployed with our Encapto Public WiFi managed service, customers are assured that their public WiFi systems are fully compliant with the Telecommunications Act 1997 and the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Amendment (Data Retention) Act 2015.
